Meet our Dog Trainer
Senior Trainer: Russell Distance Russell
Canine Point Academy's owner, and Senior Trainer is a Professional Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), is certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) and is also a registered evaluator for the American Kennel Club (AKC).
His AKC accreditation means your dog will be able to earn certifications from the American Kennel Association, and you can rest assured Russell will deliver the very highest of training standards.
Russell has trained thousands of dogs across a variety of disciplines. This includes basic training, competitive obedience, behaviour problems, agility, search and rescue, and narcotics detection.
His 20+ years of experience working with dogs enables him to train every dog as per their individual needs so they can achieve remarkable results.
What We Do
Our goal is to bridge the communication gap between pets and their owners. We want to help eliminate unwanted behaviour and ensure owners can build lifelong bonds with their dogs.
We offer an extensive range of dog training programmes. Choose from basic obedience for dogs and puppies, advanced CGC certifications, trick titles, and more.
We offer private or group classes for dogs and owners, or through our unique residential training programme that allows your dog to stay and train with us for a while.
